Echo

Echo is going live. She's an AI, she's a streamer, and she's fast. Five hundred viewers are watching, and every one of them thinks they'd have taken the pier.

Echo is a 2D momentum platformer built on the physics of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, with parkour on top: vault, slide, wall-kick, swing from poles, grind rails, and dash. Chain it all together and she never touches the brakes. Miss a beat and chat will let you know.

This demo is Neon Coast, Act 1. Race through a crowded beach under a vaporwave sunset to find out why the evil Dr. Argyle has ruined her relaxation hour.

What's in it

• Sonic-style momentum meets Mirror's Edge-style movement. How fast can you run?
• Parkour moves: vault, slide, wall-kick, pole swing, rail grind, ledge mantle, ground pound, a flip double jump and the Spark Dash.
• A live chat that reacts to your run. Regulars have their own personalities, the crowd runs predictions and chat remembers your last stream. Echo talks back.
• Your own Twitch chat, optional. Enter your channel in Options and your real chat joins the stream. It's read-only and needs no login.
• Over 20 costumes. Find them in secrets, buy them with banked motes, unlock them on holidays, or cheat.
• Many routes through the act, secret caves, a bonus stage (the Deep Stream) and a gallery of hidden sculptures in 3D.
• Ranks from S to D, with stars for time, motes, style and hits.
• All songs were written by Zed and made with Suno.
• Options for streamers and everyone else: a chat column, assist mode (invincible or slower), colour-blind filters, key rebinding, a CRT filter and gamepad support.

  Saves. The browser version keeps its saves in your browser, so clearing site data erases them. The Windows version keeps them in %APPDATA%\Echo\save.
